Thank you so much for the sample of equine Resolve. My first experience with Rain Rot was with a mare I bought that had a small spot. I thought I could clear it easily. Soon the whole horse was covered with Rain Scald. I tried iodine baths, Clorox, and anti-fungal creams, nothing worked. By this time our second mare became infected. My vet put both mares on antibiotics, and after 30 days on antibiotics, baths, and creams most of the skin lesions were gone. However, my daughter’s show mare died of colic complications. The vet thought the oral antibiotics were a contributing factor. By this time horse number three had rain scald. We used one bottle of the Resolve product and it cured both horses even though it was raining every day.
